The total donation showing  in the fundraiser, above, is what has been contributed to the emergency fund since this new website was launched in January of 2017. As dollars are used to pay veterinary bills, the actual balance of dollars remaining in the emergency fund will be updated below on a bi-weekly basis.

AVAILABLE FUNDS AS OF August 10, 2017:  $0

The Lindy Schwartz Fund pays for life saving emergency care for any breed of dog. Our objective is to maintain a balance of $10,000 because emergency surgeries can cost many thousands of dollars and full payment is often required up front. As veterinary bills are paid the balance shown on Screenshot 2015-05-16 22.16.50this page will be reduced until additional donations are obtained to restore it. Our ultimate goal is for no owner to be forced to make emergency treatment decisions for a beloved pet based solely upon finances.

Lindy was the beautiful and beloved Corgi of Marian Schwartz who passed away very suddenly in May of 2015. Even while dealing with her own loss, Marian thought about others and made a wonderful donation to the Bandit’s Bandaid emergency fund in memory of Lindy. That spirit of generosity is what has enabled our program to assist so many, and it is why the FaithBark Board of Directors named the emergency fund in Lindy’s memory. We are honored that Lindy, the Corgi girl that rocked the lion cut, has this special place in the Bandit’s Bandaid family.

I have something to donate to a future action, how do I get it into the right hands?

    • Bandit's Bandaid says:

Katie the best option would be to post it on an auction page, such as Auction Avenue for Furry Friends or Corgi Paws for Great Causes and then you can collect the funds and then donate them. That way you get the tax deduction.

Is there a mailing address? I really dislike making donations online, but I will gladly mail in a check or money order.

Hi, Firstly, thanks for your support! If you choose “offline donation” on the donation form, it will supply you with the mailing address. Thanks again!
